To rent a car you need a valid ID card or passport, a driving licence issued at least a year earlier, and to be at least 21. That's the short answer. Below are all the other conditions worth knowing before you take the keys, as they apply at Allure Rent a Car.
Documents
At pickup you show:
- your ID card or passport,
- a driving licence issued at least a year before the pickup date.
Foreign nationals rent with their passport and their own valid driving licence.
Age and driving experience
The driver must be at least 21 and have at least a year of driving experience. For some higher-class cars the limit may be higher, so ask us before you book one.
Deposit
The deposit is paid at pickup and returned in full when you bring the car back on time and in the condition you received it. If the amount for a car is set in advance, you see it on the car's page and in the price summary before you confirm the booking. If it isn't, we agree it at pickup.
Insurance
Every car has basic collision insurance, with your share of any damage at 30%. If you want that share down to a minimum, add full insurance when you book.
The insurance doesn't cover damage to the interior, tyres and wheels or the engine sump, nor a damaged or lost key. Traffic offences committed during the rental are the driver's responsibility.
Fuel and mileage
- Fuel: you get the car with a full tank and bring it back full. If you return it with less fuel, you pay for the fuel used and a refuelling charge.
- Mileage: a one-day rental includes 150 km, and each kilometre over that costs €0.50. A two or three-day rental includes 150 km a day, with €0.20 per kilometre over the limit. Long-term rentals, of a month or more, include 5,000 km a month.
Returning the car
The minimum rental is one day, or 24 hours. Bringing the car back early doesn't change the price of the booking. A late return is charged as an extra day unless we agree it in advance, so call us as soon as you know you'll be late.
Cancellation
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup, using the link in the confirmation email. A later cancellation or a no-show may be charged at one day's rental.
Driving outside Serbia
If you plan to leave the country, add the "Cross-border travel" extra when you book. Without that permission, the rental car may not leave Serbia.
What isn't allowed
The rental car may not be used to carry passengers or goods for payment, for motor sport, or to cross the border without the company's consent.
Additional driver and extras
You add an additional driver, a child or booster seat, GPS navigation and full insurance when you book. The prices are on the price list, and the legal wording is in the terms and conditions and the rental agreement.
