The price of a rental car comes down to two things: the class of car and the number of days. The longer you rent, the lower the daily rate, and the whole rental is charged at the rate for its length. With us, daily rates run from €24 to €80, excluding VAT. Below are the prices by class, three worked examples and a list of what you pay on top of the rental.
Prices by class
These prices were correct when this was written. The current rates for all six rental lengths are always on the price list.
- Class B (Citroën C3): €50 for one day, down to €24 a day for 16 days or more.
- Class B automatic (Ford Fiesta, Renault Clio): from €55 for one day down to €27 a day.
- Class C (Volkswagen Golf 8): from €60 for one day down to €36 a day for 7 to 10 days. Longer rentals are priced on request.
- Class C plus (Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla, automatic): from €65 for one day down to €35 a day.
- Class D (Škoda Octavia, Peugeot 508): from €70 for one day down to €45 a day for 7 to 10 days. Longer rentals are priced on request.
- Class E (Škoda Karoq, Opel Frontera): from €80 for one day down to €40 a day.
- Vans: we agree the price by phone.
Our prices depend only on the class and the number of days, not on the season. Even so, cars get booked up faster in summer and over holidays, so it pays to book early.
Worked examples
A weekend, two days, Renault Clio automatic: 2 × €39 = €78, or €93.60 with 20% VAT.
A week, Toyota Corolla automatic: 7 × €42 = €294, or €352.80 with VAT.
Two weeks and two days (16 days), Citroën C3: 16 × €24 = €384, or €460.80 with VAT. That's €28.80 a day including VAT.
These totals don't include fuel, the deposit or extras.

How to pay less
- 1.Rent for longer, if it suits you. One day in a Citroën C3 costs €50, three days €108, or €36 a day.
- 2.Choose the class you actually need. A small hatchback is plenty for town.
- 3.Bring the car back with a full tank. Refuelling by the rental company costs more than the petrol station.
- 4.Check the mileage before a road trip. For longer journeys, rent for four days or more.
